Research Reliability with T15e Freezer Monitoring

Precision Monitoring for Critical Assets

The T15e Temperature Tag from Securitas Healthcare, featuring a single probe, offers continuous monitoring and data logging for refrigerators and freezers. Aiming to bolster the reliability of Yale University’s temperature-sensitive research assets, our goal is to protect over 6,000 freezer units and cold rooms, preserving vital research materials.

  • Temperature Oversight: Continuous freezer and cold room temperature surveillance ensures they meet stringent research standards.
  • Access Monitoring: Instant alerts for door statuses, including open, closed, and ajar conditions, to prevent unauthorized access or potential compromise of stored materials.
  • Power Stability: Monitoring power conditions offers an extra layer of security against unforeseen power outages or disruptions.
  • Sensor Health: Regularly check sensor battery levels to guarantee uninterrupted monitoring performance.
  • Automated Alerts & Reports: Immediate notification through email and text for any detected irregularities, along with detailed sensor log reports for compliance and audit readiness.

The Yale Freezer Monitoring Service is tailored for a broad range of storage needs, including:

  • Ultra-Low Temperature Freezers (-80°C, -30°C, and -20°C)
  • Liquid Nitrogen and Dewar Freezers
  • Specialized Cold Rooms

While we strive to provide the highest level of service in monitoring conditions, there are certain areas that fall outside the scope of our responsibilities:

  1. Installation of Sensors: Clients are responsible for the proper installation of all sensors used for condition monitoring. Installation should be completed in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and Preferred Installation Guide.
  2. Handling Freezer Contents: For the safety and integrity of your assets, as well as the well-being of our team, we do not handle, move, or otherwise interact with the items stored within client-maintained environments. Our service is strictly limited to managing technical infrastructure and the configuration and delivery of sensors.
  3. Corrective Action on Alerts: While we provide timely alerts on sensor thresholds, it is the client’s responsibility to take corrective action based on those alerts. Our service does not include responding to or resolving issues triggered by such notifications.
